Hart Industries adheres to full compliance with all customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements. We’ve designed and implemented our proprietary SQF Food Safety Management System that explicitly states objectives and standards to effectively manage and promote food safety throughout the organization.

These systems must be properly validated and show evidence of actions taken along with continuous monitoring procedures. For this initiative, we use a Computerized Maintenance Management System and cloud-based Graphics Management System that enables scalable standardization and documentation of the processes and protocols necessary for a successful audit of our Food Management Safety System.

Hart Industries also leverages an ink blending and dispensing system with digital database and workflow management for ink and color management. This ink blending and dispensing system uses numerical spectrophotometer measurements to develop and verify Consumer Brand Color Specifications — a critical process for ensuring regulatory compliance and repeatable conformance for our branded partners.

Additionally, the ink system’s Standards Database promotes quality assurance, transparency, and efficiencies by incorporating an online formula and color database accessible to customers, vendors, and quality technicians. This enables full traceability by calculating a detailed breakdown, by percentage, of components present in the finished packaging structure — allowing for an accurate evaluation against FDA Food Contact Substance requirements and compliance thereof.

Hart Industries has scored 100% on all SQF audits since implementing the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program.
